Principal's Message
Dear Parents, Guardians, & Friends of Orange Grove Primary:
We welcome you to Orange Grove Primary School and are delighted that you have chosen our school as your child’s introduction into the academic arena of education. As we begin this journey of learning and self-discovery, it is our goal to form a positive, productive partnership with all stakeholders to ensure that each student may achieve their ultimate potential. We thank you for entrusting our faculty and staff with this very important responsibility of molding, not only our students’ cognitive abilities, but also playing a part in shaping the whole child’s social, emotional, and physical well-being.
We are excited about learning and helping each child experience success. Our literacy goals are at the foundation of our teaching and it is our greatest desire to develop in each child a love of reading. Reading that will extend beyond the walls of the school building and well beyond the demands of the state accountability requirements. We hope to inspire them to become eager learners in search of the answers to such questions as to the what, the why, and the how of the world around them. While concurrently developing in them the mathematical reasoning and critical thinking skills necessary to continue to be successful in the succeeding school years to come.
During our time together, we will strive to instill in each Primary student the life-long understanding that doing the best and giving the best of which you are capable will result in personal success. Our rule #4 reads, Do Your Best and Be Your Best! At Orange Grove Primary that means that each day each one of us will do our best in every endeavor and be our best in our behavior as well as in our social interactions by practicing The Golden Rule. Our expectations are high because we know that our students are, The Best, and that they are capable of delivering. Thank you for the teamwork, support, and encouragement on your child’s behalf.
The Primary faculty and staff are privileged to serve the children of Orange Grove and look forward to a promising future for all of our students. Join us on this amazing quest for knowledge!
